September sales just above average

Whilst garden centre total volume sales for September 2018 were 2% down on 2017, they were 2% up on the average for September over the previous seven years.

So, we didn’t quite get the Indian Summer peak we were hoping for but at only 2.8% down in total year on year a good run through to Christmas could still see total sales volumes reach parity on last year.

Next week we will publish our first Top 50 Christmas Products chart.  From the early sales data this week here are the instant Christmas Bestsellers as Christmas displays open:

  1. History & Heraldry Angel Hanging Decoration
  2. Suki Personalised Angel Ornament
  3. Suki Personalised Snowman/Snowgirl Ornament
  4. History & Heraldry Personalised Gift Box
  5. Armitages Dog Advent Calendar
