Wyevale Wimborne Freehold to be auctioned

The freehold of Wyevale Wimborne is to be auctioned in London on February 14th 2019.

 

Commercial property auctioneers Acuitus have listed the site on their website as being up for auction with a guide price of £1,300,000 - £1,400,000.  

 

The property, which covers 2.4 acres, comprises a purpose built garden centre of steel frame construction, providing a large internal retail area with soft play area and restaurant, as well as an external retail area for horiticultural products. Concessions, including Fairy Chic Emporium and Pets Corner, are operated within the property, with Maidenhead Aquatics based within a separate building to the eastern corner of the site.

 

The site lists the current rent as £130,110 per annum and is let to Wyevale Garden Centres Holdings Ltd until 31st August 2030 (no breaks) with RPI linked Rent Review in 2020 and 5 yearly thereafter.

 

Wyevale Garden Centres listed Wimborne along with all other centres as for sale, Leasehold, with a guide price for the retail business of £200,000.

 

The auction of the Freehold on behalf of a major fund manager takes place on Valentines Day, 14th February, at The Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, 22 Portman Square, London W1H 7BG.
