Honeyfield's: Shaping the future of sustainable Wild Bird Care

It’s a magical time when new life beckons for wild birds, with many new nests established. This is a tiring period for our feathered friends, but this is where Honeyfield’s can help with nutritious high quality bird care mixes and treats, all sustainably supplied with excellent retail support.

Honeyfield’s Sustainable Suet Treats

Carrying on their manufacturing and farming heritage dating back to 1824, Honeyfield’s produce suet-based bird food in the UK, with a focus on the best available ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. Suet is ideal for attracting differing species into gardens as wild birds find it an ideal source of fat and protein that can be quickly digested and converted into energy.

Honeyfield’s Suet Blocks (RRP £1.99) are an efficient snack to feed in the spring. These suet treats are available in three enriching options –Peanut, Fruity flavour and Mealworm & Insect. Each option comes supplied in a pack of four 300g blocks.

With Honeyfield’s High Energy Seed Mix (from RRP £6.49) suet meets seed mix in this wholesome blend. This is a formulation containing an exciting mix of ingredients rich in fat and oil, such as kibbled sunflower hearts, peeled oats, suet pellets, nyjer seed, and rapeseed oil. It is suitable for using in hanging feeders, on bird tables and ground feeders, so all birds can access the mix no matter how they like to feed. This mix is available in 1.6kg and bulk 12.6kg bags, which are made from 30% recycled materials and are fully recyclable. Furthermore, this packaging is sourced within 50 miles of the Honeyfield’s manufacturing site, reducing carbon footprint.

Fat Balls that reduce waste

Honeyfield’s Fat Balls 50 Box (RRP £11.99) is one of the most sustainable Fat Ball products available, supplied in fully branded UK sourced cardboard packs which are 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable.

These fat balls contain minimum amounts of calcium carbonate –essential for ensuring birds can continue to lay healthy, hatch able eggs. and only wholesome natural ingredients to help improve bird health and palatability.

As well as reducing packaging waste and carbon emissions, Honeyfield’s are reducing food waste by making delicious Suet Balls that wild birds return for again and again.

Get in touch today to discuss a brand committed to the best quality bird food and reducing waste – healthy birds and a healthier planet.
