Green fingers unleashed in lockdown

What a crazy, unexpected year 2020 has turned out to be! It is safe to say that, as a result, many of us with gardens have become more green-fingered in lockdown than we ever thought possible! It would appear that growing your own has never been more important than during a pandemic. Strawberries have never tasted sweeter, asparagus has never looked greener and eating tomatoes by the dozen straight from the greenhouse have never tasted juicer!

Gardening has become a welcome escape for so many. Having an oasis of calm and tranquillity is priceless, not forgetting the health advantages of growing your own fruit and veg and spending more leisure time outside in the fresh air.

Vitavia Greenhouses are the British partner of the Vitavia Group, the leading name throughout Europe for quality hobby greenhouses and greenhouse accessories.  From our warehouses in Suffolk, we provide home and trade deliveries throughout the UK, together with a professional and comprehensive greenhouse installation service.   We are proud to supply quality hobby greenhouses, widely regarded as being the best value for money, backed up by exceptional customer service.  As a wholesaler we sell via a trusted network of garden centres and garden building specialists.

At Vitavia headquarters we have never been as busy as during these last 6 months. It has been lovely to help so many during this worrying and unprecedented time, to set up and begin a new and healthier lifestyle by opting for a greenhouse from our comprehensive range.  If you are still pondering about whether to invest in a greenhouse, and if so, which model to choose, then let us help you!

A Growing Partnership

If we rewind to the beginning of the year, 2020 started really positively for Vitavia as we were appointed the UK distributer for Janssens.

Janssens are based in Belgium and market middle and high-end products developed in-house for customers who attach paramount importance to quality and style. Over the years they have earned a reputation for high quality design and innovation in luxurious greenhouses, garden rooms, verandas, orangeries, conservatories and bespoke designs.

Andrea Wells, Marketing Manager at Vitavia, explained that “it adds an exciting new dimension to our existing successful business and we are very much looking forward to adding market share for Janssens alongside Vitavia’s ever growing brand.”

To whet your appetite here are a few models from the Janssens range. They really do have the wow factor!
