Westland continues its peat reduction journey

After five years of R&D Westland is reformulating Jack's Magic Compost to contain 50% BIO3, it’s peat-replacement technology that matches the performance of peat. New Horizon Peat Free Compost continues to deliver outstanding results in independent NIAB* trials, from rooting and establishment to flowering and uniformity.

Boost Westland’s revolutionary new plant feed uses ‘plant sense technology’, to guarantee four times more blooms and more fruits and vegetables compared to watering alone. The first all-purpose plant feed optimised for both peat and peat free composts, it contains high-quality nutrients, seaweed, and an extra boost of potassium. With a unique water management system, this formulation absorbed into the soil quicker, making it easier and faster to water containers and less water-waste it’s better for the environment too!

Westland extends its child & pet friendly natural lawn range with Lawn Revive Natural Lawn Thickener, adding seeds it greens and enriches the soil for long lasting great lawns. Safelawn Liquid Feed has an optimum nutrient mix and easy-to-use liquid format for long term greening. MossMaster offers a bacterial non-pesticide solution for moss, with no need for raking and Lawn Meadow is a unique blend of 20 types of wildflower, lawn seeds and soil granules ensuring the most reliable results for a wildlife bio garden.

Visiroot Propagation delivers increased germination levels with moisture bridge technology ensuring even water and nutrient transfer across the cells. Because it’s made fromtransparent recycled plastic you can see roots establishing straight away. Fully recyclable at kerbside these products are effective and eco-friendly.

Kent & Stowe Eversharp secateurs are UK designed and are independently proven to be twice as sharp and last five times longer than the market leader. The extraordinary blade is made with a unique coated metal based on Formula One and aerospace technology.

And in birdfood Westland is making a difference with sustainable choices; Peckish Natural Balance is made with natural ingredients and 100% recyclable packaging and Gardman’s HomeGrown Harvest is packed with best local ingredients sourced from British farms, minimising food miles with fully recyclable packaging for feel good feeding.
