One of the most coveted accolades is the GIMA Sword of Excellence, and this year it wasSipcam Home & Garden who walked away with the honour for its Organic Superfood for Peat-Free Compost.

The judges said: “The single biggest issue that we face as an industry is the move to peat-free compost and this helps to address this challenge.  It's also well-presented and has great commercial opportunities.”

Winners comments: “We launched it at Glee in 2022 and spent at least six or eight months before that with our Spanish and Italian colleagues. So it's been a group effort for us to try and get a solution to an issue we've got on the market.” Nigel Thompson, Head of Sales and Marketing.
