STV have pledged to raise £10,000 in three years for Greenfingers and they are off to a great start.
Last September, STV become a silver supporter of Greenfingers and pledged to raise a minimum of £10,000 for the charity. Their fundraising events have included a day wearing green for Greenfingers and a spooky Halloween bake. All events have seen the office team, warehouse and production staff getting involved.
Six members of the STV team recently travelled up North to join the Garden Re-Leaf day walk. They took on a 13.3 mile walk around the Peak District and so far, have raised £580. If you would like to donate, please visit their JustGiving page.

On 2nd April, Katy Boyd, Brand Manager at STV took part in the London Landmarks half marathon to raise money for Greenfingers. So far, she’s had pledges totalling £575 and there is still time to increase this - so please visit her JustGiving page if you would like to add to her total. Katy said, ‘Training started about 8 weeks ago which meant a lot of running in the dark with a head torch, but it is going well and I am looking forward to completing the run and raising even more for a wonderful charity.’

There are more plans for lots more fundraising activities and a small team will be doing a wing walk later this year and the team are soon going to tackle The Three Peaks Challenge.
The business has also pledged to match fund anything the employee team raise so they are very confident of reaching their goal.
