Nursery Supervisor Growing | Nursery Stock (ref:DS9128)

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000

Job Type: Full-Time
Duration: Permanent

As a Nursery Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the plant husbandry priorities on the nursery.
  • Ensuring correct quality standards for the lifting and preparing of plants/trees for customer orders.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by all the team.
  • Prioritise and action day to day tasks.

The ideal candidate must possess:
  • Experience in containerised production horticulture.
  • Experience in leading a small team.
  • Self-motivation and drive
  • Possess a proactive personality in a demanding environment.
  • Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Fork Lift Truck and Tractor driving experience would be an advantage however training will be provided.
  • The work involves heavy lifting and can be physically demanding.

This role is for 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 16:00, Friday 7:30 - 15:00.
