Less than 2 weeks left to enter HTA Grower of the Year Awards

There are less than two weeks left to enter the six categories in the 2024 HTA Grower of the Year Awards as the deadline for entries approaches.

The HTA Grower of the Year awards will showcase the very best in UK horticulture and recognise and celebrate best practices in sustainable production. Retailers, landscapers and garden designers can show their appreciation of nurseries by nominating them, or growers can put themselves or individual staff members forward as being amongst the best.

HTA Horticulture Manager Pippa Greenwood said: “Following a hugely successful National Plant Show last month, now is the perfect time to nominate your top growers and staff members for Grower of the Year 2024, or as a grower, you can enter your own business or individual staff member. Our industry is filled with innovative growers who produce high-quality plants and provide a world-class service. So why not celebrate these amazing growers by making a one or more nominations for The HTA Grower of the Year Awards 2024?

"The process is simple and not time-consuming, and winners will be invited to our Annual Conference and dinner in September. Winners are also eligible for entry into the International Grower of the Year Awards, in recent years several of our winners have gone on to win further accolades internationally too.”

There are six categories in 2024 which are:

  • Plant Producer (inc Annuals, Herbaceous Perennials, Houseplants, Trees and Conifers, Shrubs and Climbers, Bulbs & Cut Flowers. Young and/or finished plants.)
  • Life Beyond Peat
  • Inspirational Business
  • Blooming Marvelous Employer
  • Young Grower under 35
  • Staff Member

For more information on entering the awards and the entry criteria, please visit the Grower of the Year Awards page at  https://hta.org.uk/goty
