30% up after nine weeks for Growing Media volumes

 

Growing Media sales may have dropped by 20% week on week but they were still 132% up on the same week last year. And year to date growing media sales, with only 9 weeks of the year gone, are already 30% up on last year.

 

Highlights of the week were:

  • Westland The Gardener’s Multipurpose Compost 50 litres moves 33 places up the chart to No 1.
  • Westland New Horizon All Plant Compost 40 litres is the highest re-entry at No 4.
  • Westland Container & Basket Planting Mix 50 litres is the only growing media Top 50 new entry for the week, in at No 33.
