Prime time for Primulas
Primula sales were the big movers in the third week of October as winter bedding continued to sell through at levels above last year.
Indoors there were notable increases in houseplant sales too.
- Primula sales increased by 60% to move up to No 3.
- Schlumbergera sales increased to move them 25 places up the chart to No 21.
- Lysimachia were the highest re-entry of the week, back in at No 34.
- All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 10.7%. Year to date UP 8.3% on 2017
