Zest 4 Leisure taking on Ironman Poland
Zest 4 Leisure, part of the P&A Group of companies will be taking on the Poland Ironman challenge this Sunday, all in aid of their chosen charity, Meningitis Now.

Managing Director, Steve Morgan and Fencing & Timber Buildings Manager, John Vaughn are taking part in the challenge for a second time and have previously completed three Ironman Wales triathlons.

Continuing to take part in events is very important for the company following the success of 2014/2015 when as a group they helped raised over £15,000.00 for The Alzheimer’s Society.

Steve is a firm believer in community support and raising money for Charity, he said;

“It is very important for us to raise money and awareness for our 2016 charity, Meningitis Now, and we take every opportunity possible to make the most of doing this. We have taken part in previous Ironman fundraisers and have always really enjoyed the challenge.”

As a company, Zest 4 Leisure take on various opportunities throughout the year to help raise money for its chosen charity. Fundraisers so far have included, it’s a knockout, charity golf days and raffles, with marathons, sponsored walks and tea parties still to come.

Meningitis Now was chosen as the company’s new charity at the beginning of the year, in memory of one of their staff members.

The charity is working towards a future where no one dies from meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to make the most of their life.

Meningitis Now’s Chief Executive Liz Brown said: “Support like this makes a real difference to those who are at risk from meningitis and those whose lives have already been changed forever because of it.”

The company has raised £2422.62 so far and aim to raise £5000 by the GLEE Garden Trade show in September.
