British grown carnivorous plants for indoor use, produced in a peat-free growing media, are now being offered by The Horti House.

The new arrangement means, from next week, retailers have the additional choice of four lines in 5.5cm and 1-litre pots, to add to their orders of mixed houseplants. It’s another step in the right direction for The Horti House which is bringing together a collective of UK growers to offer garden centres regular and convenient deliveries of an extensive range of indoor plants.

“The range is still relatively small but it’s a positive move and one which The Horti House will build on over time,” says Ed Hill, Founding Member of The Horti House. Ed appreciates retailers may still have to complement their selection of carnivorous plants with those grown in Europe, but at least now a core range can be secured from the UK.
