The countdown is officially on! With just 150 days to go until Garden Re-Leaf Day 2027 on Friday 12th March, the Greenfingers Charity is calling on garden centres, manufacturers and suppliers to save the date and get ready to kickstart the gardening season for a fantastic cause.

Now firmly established as one of the garden industry's favourite fundraising events, Garden Re-Leaf Day offers the perfect opportunity to bring teams together, have some fun, engage customers and raise vital funds to help create magical gardens in children's hospices across the UK.

For garden centres in particular, Garden Re-Leaf Day 2027 presents a brilliant commercial opportunity. Falling between Mother's Day and an early Easter, it provides another reason to encourage customers through the doors, drive footfall and boost early-season sales, all whilst supporting an incredibly worthwhile cause.

From fundraising challenges and special promotions to in-store events and team activities, there are countless ways for businesses of all sizes to get involved.

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising and Communications at the Greenfingers Charity, said: "Garden Re-Leaf Day is such a wonderful way to bring our industry together, and we'd love to see even more businesses getting involved in 2027. It's a chance to have fun with colleagues, give customers another reason to visit and start the gardening season on a real high. Most importantly, every pound raised helps us create beautiful, therapeutic outdoor spaces for children and families who need them most.

"So, pop 12th March in your diary, start thinking about how you might get involved and help us make Garden Re-Leaf Day 2027 one to remember!"

Save the date: Friday 12th March 2027

Further details about Garden Re-Leaf Day 2027 and how to get involved will be announced soon.
