Dorwest wins Supplier of the Year

Chosen from a record number of entries, the experts in herbal pet care Dorwest Herbs has won Supplier of the Year at this year’s National Pet Industry Federation Awards.

The PIF’s Gala Awards recognised public acknowledgement of outstanding candidates and businesses for their impact on the pet industry during 2021. An independent judging panel chose winners from 19 categories.

Jo Boughton-White, Dorwest MD commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award and it’s a testimony to our hard-working team. It’s certainly been a busy year, and with the increasing number of new dog owners our fantastic team have been there to help, from the initial enquiry talking through customers pet issues on the phones to the product being dispatched."

Jo goes on to say: “A trend we have seen develop over the past couple of years has been separation and general anxiety. Fortunately, through the sale of our bestselling calming tablets ‘Scullcap & Valerian Tablets’ and the expert advice given from our product advisors, I’m delighted that we have been able to help so many owners and their dogs remain calm and relaxed through these exceptional times and ensure there was continuity of supply."

Dorwest take the word ‘expert’ very seriously and has a wealth of knowledge spanning over 70 years. They remain a family-run business, now in its third generation and run by husband-and-wife team Ben & Jo Boughton-White, which has allowed a lot of valuable insight and knowledge to be passed down.  Known for working to only the highest of standards no wonder they are the UK’s leading provider of canine and feline herbal supplements.

Jo goes on to comment “Every day brings new challenges in these difficult times, and many UK businesses have adapted over the past couple of years, it was important to us that we did this as well to be able to supply and support our stockists.  Next year we will continue to provide customers the best possible service, together with the launch of new products supporting pets’ health further”.
