Record June for plants but still 37% down year to date
Plant sales in June reached a new record for the month in the GTN Bestsellers Plants chart, 7% higher than the previous June record set in 2018.
That claws back some of the main season losses, but our GTN All Plant Index is still running at 37% down on last year to date.
Tomato plants move back up 4 places to No 3 in the chart selling 370% more than the same week last year.
Astilbe climbed 12 places up the chart to No 33.
Festuca grasses were the highest re-entry at No 40.
