GIMA confirms interim arrangements following departure of Director Martin Ward

GIMA has confirmed that Martin Ward has left his role as Director of the Association, with the GIMA team thanking him for his contribution and wishing him every success for the future.

Following his departure, the GIMA Council and wider team have taken proactive steps to ensure the continued strength and stability of the Association, including putting additional interim support in place across key areas of activity. These arrangements will ensure that GIMA maintains its momentum, with membership services, events and wider initiatives continuing as planned.

Craig Hall, GIMA President, said: "GIMA remains firmly focused on supporting its members and building on the progress made in recent years. We are fortunate to have an engaged membership, a dedicated Council and team, and a shared commitment to ensuring the Association continues to deliver for the businesses we represent.

"While periods of transition naturally bring some change, our priorities remain the same. We have an ambitious programme of activity ahead, and I'm confident that the strength, experience and enthusiasm across our membership, Council and wider team will ensure we continue to move forward, developing new opportunities and responding to the evolving needs of the industry.

"There's also plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks, not least the GIMA Awards. I'm really looking forward to welcoming everyone to what promises to be a fantastic evening, celebrating the innovation, achievements and people that make our industry so special."

The GIMA Council will continue to review the Association's longer-term organisational requirements, ensuring that its structure and resources remain aligned with the evolving needs of its membership and its ambitions for future growth.
