Garden Press Event 2025 expands speaker line up

The Garden Press Event 2025 is set to deliver even more insights and expertise with the addition of two new speakers to the Collaboration and Innovation Zone. Jointly organised by the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) and GIMA, the event takes place on Tuesday, 18 February, at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.

How will shifting TV viewership habits impact gardening content in the digital age? Matt Young, Executive Producer at Middlechild TV, will launch a new channel with Alan Titchmarsh in 2025 across all major social media platforms. With 16 years of experience producing gardening content for television, Matt will share his insights on why the industry is moving towards digital platforms and what this means for gardening media.

Engaging your audience

Also joining the lineup is Lee Connelly, widely known as the Skinny Jean Gardener and a key figure in horticulture and gardening education.  Lee will explore how gardening boosts children's education, wellbeing, and environmental awareness, while sharing updates on Parliament discussions about adding horticulture to the curriculum.
