Dutch firm acquires UK-based Tandee Nursery

Van den Berk Nurseries from Sint-Oedenrode, the Netherlands, has announced it will be acquiring Tandee Nursery, based near Peterborough. The acquisition will provide a strong foundation for growth and will allow Van den Berk to meet the needs of customers in the UK private market.

The newly established company will continue under the name Tandee & Van den Berk Nurseries Ltd, starting 13 January 2025.

For existing customers and suppliers of Tandee Nursery, nothing will change – all services and deliveries will continue as usual. Van den Berk is working closely with the existing team at Tandee Nursery to ensure a smooth transition, with owner Deanna Craighead remaining in a key role within the new organisation.

Deanna said: “With this partnership, we can continue to provide our customers with the same quality and service they are used to. We look forward to a bright future where we can further expand our knowledge and experience together.”

Pieter van den Berk commented: “I am very pleased that we have reached this point and that we will be able to better serve our current and future customers from this location and new company.”

Van den Berk Nurseries specialises in large trees and shrubs. With extensive experience, Van den Berk supplies trees and plants to landscapers, landscape architects, developers, private individuals, and municipalities across Europe.
