Plant sales saw an uplift at the end of August to be up on the same week last year by 9%. Archetypal autumn plants; Cyclamen, Pansies, Violas and Heathers dominated sales accounting for 27% of all plants sold during the week.
Cyclamen sales grew by 50% to remain at No 1.
Dryopteris was a new entry to the GTN Top 50, in at No. 25.
Primula, another plant for autumn and winter colour were the highest chart climber moving up 29 places to No 19.
