Compost sales hit by snowfall
Growing media sales were hit by snowfall, dipping to the lowest weeks aggregate Top 50 sales volume of the year.
Indoor planting drove the sales of small bags of composts and the cold weather prompted sudden increases in mulching product sales.
- Growth Technology’s Orchid Focus Medium Compost, 3 litres, and Cactus Focus Repotting Mix, 2 litres, enjoy a second week at No’s 3 and 4 respectively.
- Westland Gro Sure Smart Cover, 100 litres, re-entered the GTN Chart at No 10.
- Shamrock Irish Moss Peat, 75 litres, moves up 17 places to No 2.
