With all this glorious weather, initial feedback from garden centres this week is that we could be heading for a bumper Easter weekend.

Last week’s GTN Bestsellers sales data put overall sales at 15% up to date on 2018 and only 3.4% down on 2017. 

With Easter still to be added this year we could be looking at a record breaking first four months of the year for garden centres.

A broadcaster on Radio 2 commented last week that they couldn’t find a parking space in their garden centre on Wednesday, it was rammed. Let’s hope that has been replicated across the country.
