Bell Plantation Garden Centre in Towcester have announced that expansion works start on July 11th with an expected completion date of 1st November; just in time for Christmas shopping.
The aim is to give customers more choice and more space to relax and enjoy a good catch up with friends or family over a leisurely lunch or afternoon tea in the café.
The expansion will take the centre from 9,000 sq ft to 19,000 sq ft - just over twice as big as now.
There will be an extra 6000 sq ft of Glass House bringing a much wider variety of plants.
There will be an extra 4000 sq ft of Retail space with a larger range of gifts and garden related products.
There will be space for an extra 40 diners in the café, bringing the total number of covers to 115.
