Plant sales were up 51% compared to last year for the first week of June pushing overall plant sales volumes in the GTN Bestsellers data to a position of up by over 5% year to date.
Roses were the star performers with sales more than doubling to move up 10 places to No 5.
Hydrangea were the highest chart climber, up 13 places to No 25.
Chrysanthemum sales also jumped to re-enter the Top 50 at No 46.
