Elho Group has appointed Melanie Meskers as chief commercial officer.
She takes responsibility for sales, marketing, product development, online and category management departments and joins Olaf Elderenbosch (CEO), Marco Wels (CFO) and director of operations Bert Bakkeren on the board.
Melanie’s sales and marketing and sales career in food and non-food FMCG includes a recent spell as global director of family cooking, baking and creams at Unilever.
She says she hopes to to help retailers inspire more consumers to bring nature into and around their homes. “In our daily lives, we are becoming increasingly isolated from nature. Technological advances and urbanisation have caused our lives to change at a rapid pace,” she said. “There is a growing need for more green in our living environment. Nature helps us to feel healthier and happier and gives us more energy. Elho inspires people to bring more green into their daily lives.”
