Malcolm Scott Consultants have secured planning permission for major development proposals at Highfield Garden World in Gloucestershire.
The proposals include the relocation and expansion of Greenways Restaurant into a new large attractive building with far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside.
Equally important, 5,300m² of unrestricted A1 Retail Covered Heated Sales Space has been achieved, and an important extension to the customer car park.
The planning permission will enable Highfield Garden World to develop further into a major destination garden centre.
Malcolm Scott Consultants and garden centre owners Joan and Tim Greenway developed the Highfield concept. Malcolm Scott Consultants then prepared the planning application which included a Retail Statement, Transport Statement and Planning Statement and subsequent promotion to Stroud District Council to approve the application.
