The popular Rosebourne garden centres at Aldermaston, Weyhill and Hampton-in-Arden have undergone some exciting changes following their merge into the Hillier Garden Centre group, bringing a vast array of high-quality and expertly grown plants, seasonal events, and tasty food offerings to the people of Reading, Hampshire and Solihull.
Last year Hillier expanded its garden centre portfolio with the acquisition of Rosebourne Garden Centres. Since then, the company has been working hard to introduce exciting changes throughout the three centres, bringing them in line with the Hillier family and providing visitors with an enhanced offering and exclusive perks.
Visitors to the centres will now find an offering of top-quality seasonal plants, many grown at Hillier Nurseries. The nurseries, in Hampshire, grow over one million plants a year in peat-free compost, which are sold exclusively at Hillier Garden Centres, ensuring an elite range of products for visitors to purchase.
One of the most notable changes across the three new centres is that the highly regarded restaurants have been further enhanced with the transformation into the much-loved Hillier Mulberry and Thyme restaurant brand. The welcoming restaurants will include some old favourites, as well as some exciting new additions to the menu as well which are already proving popular.
Locals have been pleased to hear that the Rosebourne food halls are here to stay. Packed full of seasonal produce, the food hall provides shoppers with a range of fresh and delicious food such as fruit and vegetables, cakes, condiments and much more from local suppliers.
This transition to Hillier also brings with it a whole range of additional perks for shoppers via the incredibly popular, and free-to-join, Hillier Gardening Club. The Hillier Gardening Club provides members with exclusive member offers, a reward scheme where shoppers can earn points every time they shop, gardening advice, offers, competitions, priority booking for events such as the popular seasonal workshops, among many other things.
