SOLEX 2024 hailed a ‘tremendous’ success

The three-day SOLEX exhibition held at the NEC Birmingham this week has been hailed as a huge success as the organisers announce that next year’s event will take place on 8-10 July 2025.

LOFA chairman Steve Millington said: “I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has attended visitor wise and exhibitors.

“The show has been tremendous in every single way. From the actual days of the show to the after-party and barbecue events on the Tuesday and Wednesday it has been an absolute amazing success.

“See you next year, 8-10 July 2025, back here at the NEC.”

Meanwhile LOFA's General Manager and SOLEX Event Director Gina Hinde revealed she had been overwhelmed with the response from exhibitors and visitors to the show.

Gina said: “All the stands look amazing, and everyone has pulled out all the stops this year. I think this is the best-looking SOLEX we have ever had!

“We've had the highest attendance, and more people pre-registered this year than in the past. All the big names in retail have been here and we've seen lots of buyers from independent garden centres.

“All the feedback I've had from exhibitors has been very positive. They report a constant stream of visitors, and orders have been taken.

“Our inaugural awards night was a great success. Everyone had a great time, catching up and talking amongst themselves in a relaxed atmosphere. I've set the bar pretty high for next year!”
