Winter kicks in and drives sales of lighting and houseplant feeds
It’s all change in the GTN Bestsellers Garden Products Top 50 chart this week as winter weather really kicks in. Half of the Top 50 are either new or re-entries as lighting, houseplant feeds and winter garden decoration items increase in sales faster week on week than even products in our Christmas chart.
The star items were:
- Gardman Battery Operated Dancing Candle - Medium - is the highest new entry at No 4.
- Gardman Gard”n”Fleece Bags (Assorted Sizes) Green takes the highest re-entry honour, returning to the chart at No 9.
- Smart Solar Metal Duck is the highest climber after jumping 18 places to No 28.
- Smart LED Lattice Lantern Candle, battery operated with timer, retains the top spot.

- Garden Products - down 3%
- Christmas Products - up 7%
- Growing Media - up 27%
- All Items Index - up 2%
