A new APL Market Update report has been launched specifically aimed at landscapers and designers. This report will be available quarterly and covers economic updates as well as industry news relevant to members in this sector of the industry.

The report is presented in two sections; part one covers the state of trade, economic updates and industry news, and part two focuses on a specific topic of interest to landscapers.

For the first edition of APL Market Update this topic looks at the results of a recent APL survey on typical day rates of hire of different types of equipment.

Average equipment costs for a day’s hire were calculated from the survey responses and the results aim to give landscapers an ‘at-a-glance’ way of benchmarking their costs against others.
