Keter and its sister brand, Stewart Garden, have both unveiled new ranges for the 2018 season.
New from Keter is the Newton garden shed, available in three sizes from April 2019. It is made from innovative composite fade-resistant multi-layer panels combining resin and wood for durability and zero maintenance but with a traditional look (and smell). It is light enough for easy assembly.
Special features include steel bar reinforcement for snow loads of up to 150kg/m2-30 PSF (way in excess of UK conditions). Built-in ventilation offers ample airflow, a heavy-duty floor panel supports a riding lawn mower and the walls are of a durable double-wall construction. A window plus full-length skylight provides plenty of natural light.
Keter is so confident of the technology employed that they're offering a limited lifetime warranty.
New Stewart Garden planters include the Beton, available in garden centres from February 2019. The range echoes a consumer design trend towards contemporary minimalism, capturing the aesthetic of a modern concrete texture but light enough to move around the garden. There are Square and Round styles, each in two sizes, in Light Grey and Dark Grey.
Sequoia planters, also new and available from October 2018, feature exclusive DUOTECH technology – a paintable textured surface that perfectly imitates natural wood grain, with a strong and durable double walled resin construction.
The range comes flat-packed for simple assembly and includes wheels for portability plus a built-in irrigation system with water-level indicator.
