Poinsettia sales start to get going
A sales increase of over 400% sees Poinsettias climb into the Top 10 of the GTN Bestsellers Plants chart during the first week of November.
Cyclamen hold on to the No 1 spot and between them the top 6 plant genus sales still account for over 50% of all plant sales with Orchids moving up to No 6.
Other highlights were:
- Berried Gaultheria move up 35 places as gardeners seek to add winter colour.
- Planted Hyacinths are also big chart movers, up 26 places to No 14.
- Highest percentage sales increase goes to Tiarella, up 420% to enter at No 42.
