2025 Most Jumperful Challenge raises over £5,500 for Greenfingers – taking total to £37,000 since launching!

The Greenfingers Charity is celebrating the success of the 2025 Christmas Jumperful Challenge, a fun and festive fundraiser that has once again brought cheer, colour and generosity to the season. Thanks to the efforts of Christmas jumper wearers Matt Mein and Sarah Want, this year’s challenge has already raised over £5,500 to support the charity’s work creating magical, therapeutic gardens for children in hospices across the UK.

The charity extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sponsored the challenge, with special recognition to Smart Garden, who has generously supported the final day of this year’s challenge, Christmas Day, with a donation of £500.

Launched in 2020 by Natalie Boynton, the Jumperful Challenge has grown into a much-loved festive tradition. Natalie’s vision and dedication have inspired countless supporters, and thanks to her leading the way, the challenge has now raised over £37,000 since its inception.

Natalie Boynton, initiator of the Jumperful Challenge, said: "What started as a fun way to spread Christmas cheer has grown into something truly special. Seeing so many people come together in their festive jumpers to support Greenfingers Charity fills me with immense pride. It’s incredible to think of what we’ve achieved together – over £37,000 raised is beyond anything I imagined when we began."

Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity, added: "We are enormously grateful to Matt, Sarah, Natalie and everyone who has supported the Jumperful Challenge over the last five years. This fun, festive fundraiser has not only brought joy to so many but has also raised vital funds that will make a real difference to the lives of children and families who spend time in hospices. Every donation helps us create more magical, therapeutic spaces for life-limited children and their families."

Last chances to get involved – don’t wait!
