Henry Bell heads up category expansion at Botany Bay

Year-on-year sales growth of Henry Bell Wild Bird Care products has sparked an exciting range refresh and expansion roll-out at Botany Bay Nurseries & Garden Centre in Redditch, Worcestershire.

The business, which has been a loyal Henry Bell customer since 2021, moved quickly into action, with its team working alongside agent Dominic Wright to overhaul the centre’s popular wild bird area.

All products, including brand heroes – the Sterling Squirrel Deterrent feeder and cleaning duo brush and Hygiene Spray – took the stage in Henry Bell signature vertical merchandising solutions, while displays were treated to an additional metre of prime retail space.

“Botany Bay does an incredible job of its wild bird category and deserves to do well,” said Henry Bell National Sales Manager Andrew Mellowes. “We have enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with Managing Director Jamie Ratcliffe and his team for several years and were thrilled to help them step up a gear with their displays ready for the season ahead.”

Jamie added: “We understand that merchandising excellence is an essential component in growing a successful category – and we know that we are in safe hands with Henry Bell. Thanks to Dominic and his colleagues at head office, our wild bird area looks great and ready to help drive further sales and provide our customers with an enhanced shopping experience.”

Retailers wishing to find out more about Henry Bell merchandising solutions should speak to their local Henry Bell agent or telephone Henry Bell National Sales Manager Andrew Mellowes on 01476 565761.
