Hozelock sets its sights on the future
GTN Xtra Promotion

As the key season for 2022 comes to an end, Hozelock is looking ahead to a promising 2023 which involves a new CEO at the helm and the acquisition of an additional manufacturing facility.

CEO appointment

Moving the business forward is new CEO Simon Davies, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector having worked at Hozelock for more than 10 years. In his previous role of Group Sales and Marketing Director, Simon worked closely with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers and retailers, which will provide valuable insight to move the business forward.

Increased manufacturing capabilities

Hozelock’s long-term growth strategy also includes the recent multi-million-pound investment in additional manufacturing and warehouse facilities at its base in the West Midlands. The increase of 6,000 sqm will enable the business to expand UK manufacturing capabilities in response to increasing consumer demand, both in the UK and internationally.

NPD in the pipeline

Next year, Hozelock’s already-impressive product portfolio will further expand with a whole new host of products, including an overhaul of the oscillating sprinklers range, Wonderhoze, a new alternative hose, and a brand-new Solar-Heated Shower.

Simon Davies, Hozelock CEO, said: “This is an extremely exciting time for both myself and the business. With increased manufacturing capabilities and a number of innovative new products in the pipeline, including those in brand-new categories, 2023 promises to be a busy year for Hozelock. I look forward to seeing how our new products are received by both retailers and gardeners alike and to building on our relationships with stakeholders.”
