Growing media sales off to a flying start
Growing Media sales have got off to a flying Early-bird start this year. GTN Bestsellers Growing Media chart Top 50 sales volumes are over 50% up on the first two weeks of last year.
And almost 75% up on 2014 early sales. We’ve seen some great offers out there and clearly keen gardeners are ready and willing to get stocked up with compost so they can get growing as soon as possible.
Star performers this week include:
- Arthur Bowers Multipurpose Compost, 50 litres, climbs 17 places back to the No 1 spot, just pipping Westland Jack’s Magic 60 litres.
- Shamrock Irish Moss Peat, 75 litres, is the highest re-entry at No 4.
- Arthur Bowers New Horizons Organic Compost, 56 litres, is the highest new entry.
