Plant Centre Manager (ref:BP7268)

I am currently seeking a talented horticulturalist to join the team at a large wholesale nursery based in Nottinghamshire. 

This individual will be responsible for running the plant centre attached the the nursery which caters to the general public. I am looking for someone very knowledgeable in horticulture as this business has built up a reputation as a knowledge centre for the general public.

Repsonibilities include:
-Serving customers.
-Checking Plant Centre area for watering, weeding and general tidiness and taking action where necessary.
-Plant labelling.
-Arranging deliveries of customer orders and liasing with main office with regard to delivery vehicles.
-Completing stock requirement sheets for re-stocking.
-Re-stocking sales area with stock brought from nursery and other sources.
-Displaying 'Looking Good' stock.
-Deal with customer telephone and email enquiries.
-Keep Sales Manager informed of customer requests for plants not in stock.
-Take responsibility for cash whilst on duty and cash up and balance the till daily.
-Plan seasonal promotional sales.
-Liaise with person responsible for social media and advertising
-Undertake other such duties as may be requested by the directors from time to time.

There will be man management in the role and experience in this field is preferred.
