Attendees at the Garden Centre Association conference in the Cotswolds will see two new awards added to the roster this year. The Ian Boardman Indoor Plant Award and the Food Hall/Farm Shop Award will be presented to the best Destination Garden Centre (DGC) and Garden Centre (GC) in both categories.

Cabbages beat Pansies as GCA Conference gets off to a peat-free start

The 2024 GCA conference got off to a peat-free start with around 60 delegates getting a behind-the-scenes tour of Melcourt’s site in Tetbury, followed by a brewery tour and a Charity Quiz Night which was won by the Cabbages (suppliers), beating the Pansies (garden centres) for the second year running..

GTN's Greatest Christmas Awards - Category finalists and customer vote Top 30
 

Due to the amazingly high standards set and the huge number of customer votes received, 18,919 to be precise, it has taken longer than usual for the judges of GTN’s Greatest Christmas Awards to decide on their winners and for the votes to be ratified.

 

We are now pleased to announce the finalists in each awards category, plus the Top 30 centres in the ultimate customer vote for The Greatest Christmas Garden Centre Team.

 

We will be announcing the winners and presenting the awards on the Inspiring Retail Stage at Spring Fair in Hall 2 on Monday 5th February at 5:00pm, where we’ll also have some drinks and snacks available for all those who can join us for our celebration of all that’s great about garden centre Christmas retailing...
