IPM Essen joins as Host Sponsor for the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards

IPM Essen, the industry’s largest international trade fair, has joined as Host Sponsor for the AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards – a partnership that will include the 2024-26 editions of the celebration.

Organised by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) and founding partner FloraCulture International (FCI), the IGOTY Awards celebrate the best of the best in ornamentals production. The awards comprise four categories: finished plants and trees, young plants, cut flowers and bulbs, and sustainability.

An annual AIPH-approved trade show, IPM Essen covers the whole lifecycle of ornamental production, from breeding to the point of sale. The show brings together horticultural producers, retailers, and technology from around the world.

Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen, commented: "Two great events will come together in 2024: The 40th IPM ESSEN will not only be the meeting place for the global horticultural industry, but also the venue for the Grower of the Year Awards. We are delighted that our long-standing partner AIPH has chosen Messe Essen as the platform for this trend-setting industry award. Especially in its anniversary year, this will give the world's leading horticultural trade fair even more radiance."

The 2024 IGOTY awards reception and ceremony will be held on Tuesday 23rd January 2024 in Hall Ruhr at IPM Essen in Germany. In addition to the ceremony, AIPH will host an industry conference and panel with inspirational speakers and previous IGOTY winners. Details will be announced soon.

Tickets for the evening reception and awards ceremony cost only €75 (incl. VAT) per person. Groups of five tickets are available for the discounted price of €300 and groups of ten for €600. To secure your place, visit the AIPH Website.

AIPH thanks Host Sponsor IPM Essen, Founding Partner FloraCulture International, Sapphire Sponsor GLOBALG.A.P. & GGN Label, Pearl Sponsor MyPlant & Garden, and Media Partners Economía & Viveros, Guiaverde, and Pod Osłonami PL for their continued support of the awards.
