Special 'surviving the snow' award for Armitages Pennine

The UK may experiencing hot weather at the moment but only four months ago this was the scene at Armitages Pennine Garden Centre near Huddersfield. But the gallent efforts of garden centre staff to shift the snow has now been recognised by a 'special' prize at the GCA North East Regional Awards...

Armitages Pennine Garden Centre received the 'Surviving the White Stuff ' Award. The team shifted tonnes of snow to make way for customers and their cars.

Full marks for innovation go to the plant area team who were selling snow as a linked sale on the alpine troughs (below)!
