Alton Garden Centre in Essex went the extra (S)mile at the weekend to save customers queuing locally for petrol, offering a free can of petrol with every set of garden furniture purchased.

Andy Bunker told GTN Xtra: "We sold quite a few sets of garden furniture this weekend, but not all wanted the petrol!"
