There were big changes in plant sales last week according to the weekly Epos data analysed by GTN Bestsellers.
For the first time Heuchera have gained the ‘most popular plant of the week’ accolade, outselling Dianthus and Cyclamen, as Pelargoniums are toppled from the No 1 spot after 18 consecutive weeks at the top.
Plants for late summer and autumn colour dominate the major moves up the chart with Pansies the highest climber, moving up from No 41 last week to No 9.
The striking flower spikes of Crocosmia generated increased sales of over 400%.
