While overall growing media sales continue to dip to mid-summer lows, sales of garden soils grew by 26% week on week as some gardeners take advantage of the summer holidays to carry out garden improvement projects. Compared to the same week last year garden soils sales are up by 88%.
Scotts Levington Organic Choice Top Soil, 25 litres doubled sales week on week to re-enter at No 31.
Westland Top Soil, 35 litres value bag moves up three places to No 4.
Westland Indoor Plant Compost, 10 litres saw the biggest percentage week on week growth, up 257% to re-enter at No 47.
