Police are appealing for information about the theft of seven sculptures and one box tree from a garden centre in Exeter.
The aged effect bronze finish sculptures, which have a total value of approximately £1,000, were stolen from Bernaville Nurseries, Cowley, Exeter.
Those responsible gained entry to the garden centre and made off with one foal, two large deer, one gun dog, one fox, one duck, one pheasant and a cut box tree that was approximately 4’ in height.
PC Mike Doidge, based at Crediton police station, is investigating the theft.
He said: "Whoever stole these statues went to great lengths to take them and I suspect that they may have been stolen to order or to complete a landscaping project.
"I would appeal to anyone who has seen these statues appear in someone's garden recently or been offered them for sale, to get in touch."
