Alan Down is HTA President, Will Armitage becomes Vice-President, Boyd Douglas-Davies becomes chair of OHRG
Alan Down has duly been elected HTA President at the HTA AGM last week and in his first weekly "Message from the President" video, posted on You Tube, he announces that Will Armitage is to be the new Vice-President.
Boyd Douglas-Davies becomes Immediate Past President and at the AGM, James Barnes, whilst summing up Boyds Presidency during the HTA AGM on Friday, announced that Boyd has become Chair of the Ornamental Horticulture Roundtable Group (OHRG). This is a two-year appointment.
The OHRG is a body of industry leaders and innovators, including retailers, gardening charities and industry bodies, that have been championing the immense value and benefits of ornamental horticulture to safeguard the nation’s future.
The HTA Conference takes place on Wednesday 14th September at the ICC in Birmingham. The Conference will ask:
