Scotts UK have confirmed that Sheila Hill has left the business and Mark Portman has been appointed to replace her in the role of UK General Manager.

Mark has been at Gardman for a short period of time as Group Sales Director.

Prior to that role, he spent more than 7 years at Henkel, where he was General Manager, UK, Ireland & Nordics, .

Previously, he performed a series of increasingly senior Sales roles at Premier Foods where he was for 8 years, before which he was at New Covent Garden Soup.

"His category experience with Gardman and his experience of working with our largest UK customers will also stand him in good stead.

"Mark will join us at the latest beginning of April and until then the UK team will continue to report to Ted Linehan on an interim basis."
