Garden centre strikes gold with new coffee shop and restaurant
Strikes Garden Centre at Stokesley, North Yorkshire, has transformed its catering offering with the new Topiary Coffee Shop and Restaurant, which is three times the size of its former café. It’s part of the centre’s extensive redevelopment programme.“It has undergone a vast transformation,” said staff member Lauren Beeforth. “It is now three times the size it was before and is on a new site.” The Topiary Coffee Shop and Restaurant has plenty of things of tantalise every tastebud. It serves everything from a lazy breakfast to an indulgent afternoon tea, and home baking to daily specials. Food on the menu includes a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, steak ciabatta, homemade quiche and baked potatoes. Lauren said: “It looks great - we have had a great reaction so far from our regulars and new customers.”
