Sustainable, biodiverse and wildlife-friendly... that's Honeyfield’s Wild Bird
GTN Xtra Promotion

WHY HONEYFIELD’S?

Honeyfield’s Wild Bird offers an ethos that revolves around all things sustainable, biodiverse and wildlife-friendly. Where possible, our wild bird foods comprise cereals and seeds grown on Fair to Nature farms. These farms manage over 10 per cent of their land to support wildlife. For example, by growing seed-bearing crops that sustain farmland species such as linnets, skylarks and buntings, and creating habitats for birds, mammals and invertebrates.

WHY FEED THE BIRDS?

Birds usually forage and hunt in hedges, trees and fields, but food can be hard to come by in the winter months. By offering supplementary meals such as seeds, dried mealworms and suet in your garden, you are providing a valuable energy source that will support your local birds through these leaner times, particularly when there is snow or frost on the ground. Garden feeding stations are also incredibly useful in spring, when adult birds need a dependable larder to sustain their growing chicks.

WHICH FEEDER?

The more diverse the food you supply, the greater the variety of birds that will frequent your patch. Honeyfield’s offers an incredibly broad range of feeders, with everything from sunflower heart feeders that can also hold dried mealworms, to peanut feeders that can also be used for suet (sought after by blue tits, woodpeckers and many others!). From those with a classic stainless steel finish to vibrantly coloured, heavy-duty products, as well as prefilled and easy-clean, easy-fill options.

WHAT FOOD?

At Honeyfield’s, you’re spoiled for choice. We offer six different seed blends as well as sunflower hearts, peanuts, dried mealworms and fatballs. Our brand new Suet Range – comprising six suet-based products in various sizes come as both blocks and pellets – the ideal way to offer a high-energy banquet on your bird table.
