Nursery loans plants for children's charity fundraiser

Wyevale Nurseries has loaned the WellChild charity a selection of plants for a Spring into Gardening event at the Royal Agricultural University later this week (6 April). WellChild is a national children’s charity that helps to get seriously ill children out of hospital and home to their families wherever possible.![](/files/1/17491/43274/5687890/49d977dceca08949b6750a14/wyevale-nurseries-fundraiser.gif) The plants on loan include Camellia japonica rosa, Pittosporum Tenuifolium ‘Elizabeth’, Polemonium ‘Heaven Scent’, Anemone ‘Bordeaux’, Allium hollandicum ‘Purple Sensation’ and a number of Hellebores. The event will be chaired by TV presenter and producer Camilla Bassett-Smith. Attendees will learn the tricks of the trade with live demonstrations from green-fingered garden designers, Caroline Tatham and Kate Durr. There will also be an illustrated talk from Chelsea gold-medallist, Olivia Kirk.
