Napoleon Grills, the internationally renowned barbecue and outdoor kitchen specialist, has teamed up with leading sport, chef and TV presenter personalities as part of their Better Barbecuing campaign for 2019 and beyond.
Napoleon’s resident UK ambassador, BBQ author and fire cooking expert, Genevieve Taylor, has collaborated with renowned chef Neil Rankin, television presenter Julia Bradbury and sporting legends Jamie Roberts and Darren Gough to create exclusive barbecue recipe videos, which will be live on Napoleon.com in time for the May bank holiday weekend and ahead of National BBQ Week (27th May – 2ndJune).
Each influencer is a keen griller, with varying skill sets from occasional to seasoned, and with Genevieve’s guidance, they have created bespoke recipes using a range of Napoleon’s signature gas, charcoal and portable grills.
Renowned chef and creator of Temper, Neil Rankin, is a pioneer of London’s high-end barbecue scene. Using Napoleon’s Pro 22 Kettlecharcoal grill, Neil has created his signature ‘low and slow’ style Chicken with Chermoula, Fresh Mint, Chillies and Grilled Citrus, served with Genevieve’s Sticky Butternut Squash and Feta with Pomegranate Salsa and Garlic Yoghurt.
Julia Bradbury, an English primetime television presenter and President of The Camping and Caravanning Club (the first female in the club’s 118 year history) whipped up some Jerk-Spiced Plantain, Shallot and Halloumi Skewers cooked on a portable Napoleon Travel Q Pro285.
England cricket legend and host of ‘Drive Time’ on talkSPORT radio, Darren Gough is a keen barbecuer and put his grill skills to the test on Napoleon’s Prestige Pro 825 to cook Italian style Pork, Fennel & Lemon Burgers with Tomato Relish and Grilled Aubergines.
Finally, Jamie Roberts, a Welsh rugby union player who has represented the British and Irish Lions and currently plays for Bath Rugby, tested his mettle over some Moroccan Lamb Steaks with Grilled Apricots on Napoleon’s Rogue SE525 SIB.
